Equality bulletin #50

This Equality bulletin was issued by the TGLRG on November 24th 2005.

Hi Everyone,

In this Equality Bulletin there is an urgent call to action from South Australia and a notice about three community forums to be convened by the Australian Coalition for Equality in the next few days.

Relationship equality in South Australia
************************

Dear Friends

As you know, the Same Sex Relationships Bill has passed the third reading in the Upper House.

It‚s now up to the Attorney-General to re-introduce the Bill into the Lower House, where it has the numbers to pass.

With so much Government business to conclude in the remaining FIVE sitting days of parliament, we don‚t want the Same Sex Relationships Bill to be put once again on the back burner.

We need to keep up the pressure - and you can help.

Send an email to the A-G NOW.

It‚s easy - just go to the LGE website at
www.letsgetequal.org.au and follow the
prompts.

We are almost there!

Many thanks

Ian Purcell
